Buck's Landing

• Look out on a rich saltmarsh habitat. Bring your binoculars. Waterfowl, shorebirds, raptors, and songbirds are on view throughout the year.
• Launch a kayak, canoe, or stand up paddleboard.
• Friendly dogs on leash are welcome.

• Respect adjacent private property owners. Do not trespass on their property.
• For safety, respect caution and closure signs regarding aging structures and work in progress.
• This is an open bay environment. Maintain caution at all times. Currents can be strong. Weather and water conditions can change quickly.
• If you kayak or canoe, wear a lifejacket, and check information about tides before heading out.
• Seasonal hunting may take place in this area.

From Hwy 101 take the exit forNorth San Pedro Road. Follow North San Pedro Road, heading toward San Pablo Bay. Turn left on Buck's Landing Road. Buck's Landing is at the end of the road.

• Be courteous and respectful of others. Parents and guardians are responsible for helping children observe park rules.
• Dogs must be on leash. Leash must not exceed 6 feet in length.
• Individuals accompanying dogs are required to clean up and dispose of pet waste.
• Keep the park clean and litter-free. Use garbage cans provided, scoop dog poop, and carry out all your belongings.
• Be peaceful. Loud noise and amplified music are not allowed.
• No smoking, no fires.
• No camping or overnight parking.
• No firearms or weapons of any kind.
• No operating or landing aircraft of any kind, including drones.
• Motorized vehicles are not allowed, except Power-Driven Mobility Devices (OPDMD) per Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
• Permit required for groups of 20 or more people.
• Permits are required for commercial use, including tours, classes, camps, film, or photography. Learn about permit applications.
• Do not approach, follow, or feed wildlife.
